Butterfly Girls Night Out - Time to Indulge in TGV Cinemas 1 Utama

Happy Birthday to me! On this special day, I really wish to indulge myself in the romantic yet delicious dinner and enjoy a good movie with my loves one at TGV Indulge, 1 Utama again.

My first encounter of TGV Indulge was happened on The Butterfly Project’s Girls Night Out event last month. Thanks to the The Butterfly Project, and sponsors including TGV Cinemas 1 Utama, 123 Cheese photo booth and Muse by Watsons.

Let me introduce a bit more about TGV Indulge, 1 Utama. It has its own ticketing counter, lounge and dining area and also two exclusive cinema halls that can accommodate 32 and 40 pax respectively. Indulge is TGV Cinemas’ latest unique cinema concept that stands apart from TGV Cinemas’ current chain of locations and hall.

The rich purple and silver façade provides a distinct element of class to the lounge and dining area as the guests are greeted by the staff.

We were welcome by mamasan at the very beginning of the event.

TGV representative greeted us too before the dinner was served.

Dinner was a fine dining with 10 course meals. It was served in the dining area, and the waiters were nice and friendly.

Salad

Smoked Duck Salad

Smoked duck breast served with mesclun greens, capsicum & skewed with kiwi, with balsamic dressing. I’m not really into smoked dishes hence no comment on this.

Pumpkin Salad

Rocket leaves with honey roasted pumpkin, cherry tomatoes & capsicums, with Balsamic dressing. The pumpkin salad taste really good, I wish we could have more!

Entrée

Stuffed Potato Skins

Potato skins stuffed with turkey bacon & mozzarella, yummy.

Lamb Koftas

Lamb patties served with green salad, this is something special to me.

Mains

Grilled Salmon

Served with seasonal vegetables with lemon butter sauce. This dish is another favourite of mine.

Grilled Lamb Rack

Served with seasonal vegetables & rosemary sauce. The chef came and asked our preferences for the level before he cooked. Turn out my lamb rack is perfectly grilled in medium well and it taste really good.

Cajun Chicken

Grilled boneless chicken thigh with Cajun seasoning. I like how the chef grilled the chicken yet maintain it’s juiciness.

Desserts

Panna Cotta

Italian cooked cream topped with raspberry. I’m absolutely loving this!

Nutty Tortilla Banana

Tortilla filled with peanut butter, cornflakes & freshly sliced banana. I don’t really fancy peanut butter hence I didn’t finish this dessert.

The butterflies then adjourn to Indulge cinema hall to watch the movie, Lucy after the cozy dinner. The walk way to the cinema was dim and quiet, just right for it’s luxury and exclusivity image.

The cinema hall is fitted with reclining chairs and personalized call-waiter-service.

I like that they provide the patrons with a purple comforter because it’s so cold in the cinema. Take note, the comforter is not meant for patrons to take back home ya.

Oh did you notice that bento box on the desk? It was our dessert! It was served inside the cinema hall that night.

TGV Indulge really gives me out of ordinary cinema experience. I wish someone would bring me there again, perhaps today for my Birthday celebration? Hehehe…
